Mother Ocean Day
Mother Ocean Day serves as a celebration of our oceans, which generate most of the oxygen that we breathe, feed us and regulate the planet's climate. The day also serves to promote the oceans' contribution to life and the need to protect it from harmful pollution, overexploitation, destructive fishing and climate change. Unfortunately, as a result of human pollution and exploitation, the world's oceans are becoming increasingly delicate.
The Mother Ocean Day spotlights the entire magnificent of the body of water, which makes our life possible on Earth.
South Florida Kayak Fishing Club created and first introduced the Mother Ocean Day in 2013. The City of Miami then declared this day officially. It has been celebrated for wondering the beauty of the ocean, and it is quite surprising for the residence of Florida who comes forward with this idea of celebrating the day.
You can celebrate this day with your friends and family by just tossing the roses on the water, from the shore of the sea. Throwing flowers into the ocean will raise the awareness of dangers of pollution with that it may be bit wrongheaded. Then the day is celebrated for memorializing the living creatures in the ocean.
