Every Day Is Earth Day

“The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest;
it is the one thing all of us share.”
- Lady Bird Johnson

The Earth is the only planet in the Universe where life originated as we know it. We can certainly say that Earth is our mother and we are her children. She gave us food, water, and shelter. What useful things have we done to our mother?

There is a massive destruction of forests, pollution of seas, and oceans. We are increasingly impoverishing resources of our planet.

As the process of globalization quickly moves, our environment suffers. What do we have to do in order to stop the harm over Earth?

What is Earth Day?

Despite the dire situation, humanity is aware that we need to protect the Earth.

The first action of Earth Day was held in the USA in 1970, and then it was spotted by society. People began to realize how valuable the Earth is and started to treat it with care.

However, Earth Day only got global status in 2009, when United Nation Organization formalized Earth Day as global event on April 22. The World Bell must sound during this day. It has been a symbol of friendship and support among all people in the saving of life on the planet without wars and destruction for years. Now it is installed in every country, which understands the importance of Earth Day.

Every year, scientists all over the world gather on this day with aim to discuss global ecological problems and offer the ways of their solution. With aim to protect and improve the environment, people held different exhibitions and festivals concerning the Earth, take part in conferences about the problem of environment, make their streets and areas near their houses clean, observe the traffic on the busy streets of cities. Cultural events and concerts are held.

We must remember that everyone can take part, including you. Each of us can make this world a better place.

Every day must be Earth Day.. Without mother Earth, where would any of us be? Our7 Chakra Reiki Healing Heart Bracelet will helpgetting you back to your spiritual, emotional, mental and physically healthy self while celebrating Earth Day this year.
