Acharya Charaka has also mentioned it as a rejuvenative (Rasayana) to muscle tissue (Mamsadhatu) and muscular system (Mamsavaha srotasa).A favourite recipe for Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Shiroabhyanga, Pizhichil and Mukha abhyanga.
